What Business Are You In?

Really, do you know what business you're in?

Most people don't.

So ask yourself...'what business are you in?'

If you said: 'the personal training business' -
that's the wrong answer.

Let me back up for a second and explain.

See, about 75 years ago railroads thought they
were in the 'railroad' business.

But in reality they were in the 'transportation'
business.

Because they didn't understand this - they
didn't move into other modes of transportation.

And they got passed by.

We're seeing it right now with the newspaper
industry. They think they're in the 'newspaper' or
'print' business while in reality they're in the
'information' business.

Because of that, they have gotten their butts kicked
on the internet.

So what I'm suggesting to you is this:

Don't consider yourself in the 'personal training
business'...instead be in the 'fitness' business or
better yet - the 'helping people live, happier,
healthier, more active lives business.'

By taking the blinders off you can find all sorts of
ways to better serve people:

:: You could run a bootcamp to serve more people.

:: You could train kids as there is no better cure than
prevention.

:: You could integrate technology or a new approach
to coaching or even some other consideration I'm not
smart enough to point out here...all in the quest to
bring your clients their desired results.

So if you want to stay ahead of the pack, it's
simple: know what business you're in.

Dedicated to your success,

Pat

A Sneaky Tactic…But Kinda Cool

In the book Influence, Robert Cialdini talks about

providing a gift or a favor to someone, and in turn

that placing a social obligation on the recipient to

repay the gift giver.

Holly and I saw it in action this weekend.

So Much To Do…

Do you wake up each day thinking exactly that?

"I have soooooo much to do."

"There aren't enough hours in the day."

Me too.

The more you get done, the more you want to do.

So if you want to get the most out of your time,

you must focus on high return activities first.

But that's usually the opposite of what most people

do.

For most people in corporate America - they go

to the office, get some coffee and check email.

Then they check some more email.

Then maybe they go off to a meeting.

Then it's time for lunch.

Fitness pros are no different.

When it comes to marketing, most fitness pros

will make a blog post, a YouTube video or write

and article long before they'll get on the phone

and make some calls or go out and do some

face-to-face networking.

If you want to be more productive - and more

successful than 98% of the people in this (or

any) industry, try this:

Identify the 2 or 3 highest return activities you can

do each day and focus on them first.

Only after you've put in a good 60-90 minutes on

those should you consider moving to some of the

other tasks on your 'To Do' list.

Try that for the next week. I suspect you'll get

more done in that week than you did in the last

month.

Dedicated to your success,

Pat

Hopefully you've been following my buddy Pat

Beith's videos about running speed clinics. They're

some of the highest return events I've ever run - so

much so that we're even doing a full workshop on them

at the IYCA Summit.

If you're going to be at the workshop, this is one

heck of a primer.

If not, I'd suggest you study this even more:

How Far We’ve Come;)

I got an email from my buddy Damon Moschetto

a couple of days ago in response to my newsletter

and he once again reminded me of how far we've

(Nick and I) come.

Back in 2004 we signed on with Apex Fitness to

sell their products in our smoothie bar and Damon

was our account manager.

He reluctantly came up from sunny Florida to

Kentucky in January of 2005 to do our Apex training.

Once he got up here, he was quick to make fun

of the fact that we had yet to discover flash drives

and were keeping all of our information on disks.

In fact, I think he referred to us as 'hillbillies.'

But I do suspect that he was a little impressed with

the way that we were selling training - even if we

weren't very tech savvy;)

We told Damon that we had some big plans, and I'm

100% sure that he thought we were full of crap.

By his next visit to Kentucky we'd helped him

implement EFT billing in his own training business

and were starting to make our way online. In fact,

I remember pitching my idea for Fitness Riches to

he and Nick during that visit.

Fast forward to 2009. Basically 4 years after Damon's

first visit to Kentucky. During one of our chats Damon

reminded me of that first trip to KY and how much Nick

and I have accomplished since then.

I have to be honest - I don't really give that sort

of stuff much thought as I'm usually pretty busy

working on our current projects and don't spend a

lot of time reflecting.

But that conversation did cause me to look back and

see how much things have changed over the past

four years.

I'm not going to bore you with the details other than to

say that we've pretty much grown by well over 1000% in

revenues and we're doing things that we love to do.

A pretty cool combination.

Why's this important to you?

Well, if two 'hillbillies' from Kentucky can figure out

flash drives, think big and build a seven-figure business,

then you can too - right?

Yes - you can. And we're going to help you.

Dedicated to your success,

Pat

P.S. - You need to see the video our buddy Pat Beith

just posted. He basically is saying that there is

a conspiracy among big cert orgs and college profs

to keep you from making any serious mo.ney as a

fitness pro. Here's your link:

P.P.S. - Want to know how big a dummy I am?

Remember how I was talking about how awesome

AJ Roberts is at only age 25 the other day?

Well - he's 23.

That probably has to increase his 'awesomeness'

by another 30%;)

Speaking Of ‘Fast Track’…

Jim and I have both been talking about getting

you on the Fast Track to Fitness Mil.lions lately.

We're fed up with fitness pros settling for mediocrity.

Well one guy who doesn't settle for mediocrity in

anything is A.J. Roberts.

A.J. has jumped on the Fast Track and is on a pace

that any of us would envy.

He's willing to do whatever it takes to achieve his

goals.

He wanted to Fast Track his climb as a fitness pro

and fitness business expert - so not only did he attend

every seminar and study every resource he could - he

moved all the way from Washington to Kentucky to work

with us.

A pretty big sacrifice, but being willing to make that move

has opened many doors for him and will continue to open

many more.

After about a year here, A.J. had decided that 'main

stream' fitness wasn't for him and knew that he

wanted to focus on three things:

1. Training athletes

2. Working on the business side of fitness

3. Becoming an even better powerlifter

So A.J. continued to work with us, but moved to Columbus,

Ohio to train at Louie Simmons' gym...which is kinda like

studying real estate with Donald Trump.

Bottom line - A.J. knows what he wants and he's willing to

work and sacrifice to get it.

Even though he's only 25 - a whole lot can be learned

from A.J. He's a lock to make mil.lions - and it's not by

accident.

Figure out what you want.

Bust you're a&$ to get it.

Get on your own Fast Track.

Dedicated to your success,

Pat

P.S. - My buddy Patrick Beith created a

video showing you exactly how you can quickly

and easily turn your experience working with

athletes into a continuous revenue stream.

Are You On The Fast Track?

During our move this weekend I ran across an

newspaper article about me being named Head

Baseball Coach at my alma mater at the ripe old

age of 23.

The title: "Rigsby Gets On Baseball's Fast Track"

Looking back, I guess it was pretty appropriate.

I wanted to be a Hall of Fame caliber success as a

Coach and had a plan that I thought would get me

there.

And the plan was far from rocket science. He it is:

1. Model success. Study those that have been

where I wanted to be.

2. Don't do what everyone else does. Ordinary isn't

enough. Be willing to be different and controversial.

3. Recruiting is the lifeblood of winning teams. Be

better than everyone else at it.

4. Beat the opponents at the details - the things

they're not doing.

5. Out work the competition.

6. Have systems for everything. That way new

people can easily get acclimated.

7. Never settle.

That's it. Like I said - not rocket science, but it served

me well. When I quit coaching I had amassed more wins

than any other coach at that stage of their career (age 29)

in college baseball history.

Now I've come full circle and we're helping thousands

of fitness professionals each get on their own 'Fast

Track.'

In fact, Jim, Nick and I are going to put you on your

own 'Fast Track To Fitness Mil.lions'.

Yes, I said Mil.lions.

You shouldn't have to decide between building wealth

and building a career you love.

And we're going to make sure you don't have to make

that decision.

Stay tuned as we'll be announcing details about our Fast

Track To Fitness Mil.lions Live Event that's coming

this May.

Big things are on the way;)

Dedicated to your success,

Pat

P.S. - By the way, if you want to model success like

I mentioned above, I have two more people you should

be following on Twitter:

Chris Mohr:

Kara Mohr:

Are You Willing To Pay The Price?

Everyone says they want to be successful.

In fact I don't think I've ever heard anyone

say they want to be a failure;)

But there is a HUGE difference between saying

you want to be a success and being willing to

pay the price necessary to be successful.

Are willing to forgo vacations to get things done

or to be able to afford to attend a seminar?

Are you willing to live in a basement or a one

bedroom apartment so you can afford to start

your own business?

Are you willing to make 50 phone calls a day if

that's what it takes to line up speaking engagements?

Are you willing to go out and network enough to

meet 5-10 new people a day if that's what it takes?

Are you willing to spend a couple of hours before

your 'real job' and a few more after it to get your

new venture off the ground?

You may not have to do any of these things to

achieve success...but you may have to do all of

them.

Are you willing to pay the price?

The Truth About Opportunities

I remember back when I was coaching, every

season there would be a handful of guys that

came in my office complaining about not

getting enough playing time.

Oddly enough, these fellas that didn't feel like

they were being treated 'fairly' were never the

guys that were putting in the extra time in the

batting cage or in the weight room.

In fact, I remember the fall of 1997 we had 73

guys come in for the trying to make the team

(at that point we didn't have scholarships).

About 3 weeks into fall practice I started to hear

some grumbling from a few guys saying they

weren't getting enough opportunities to showcase

their talents.

Like yesterday I recall standing in front of the group

and saying:

"I've heard that some of you are unhappy with the

Number of at bats you're getting or the number of

innings you're getting to pitch.

Here is where I tell you I don't give a sh&t.

If you want opportunities - you create them.

If you want more at bats - make the most of

the ones you are getting.

If you want more innings - pitch better during

the opportunities that you are getting.

Strangely, I don't ever see any of the people that

are complaining staying after practice doing extra

work.

Bottom line...it's not the number of opportunities

you're getting.

It's what you do with them."

I've not coached a game of baseball in a long, long

time (if you ignore Tyler's T-Ball games) - but I still

feel the same way today.

Don't complain about the opportunities that aren't

coming your way...make the most of the ones you

are getting and put in the time and effort necessary

to create the new ones that you want.

Dedicated to your success,

Pat

I'm finally getting back online after a busy

weekend moving.

In fact the 'phone guy' is downstairs hooking

up the phone and internet now (I'm using a

wireless card)as we try to get everything

in order.

I'm glad to get that behind us so now I can

focus on getting ready for the IYCA Summit

that we're going to hold right here in Louisville.

It's pretty exciting for us as Nick and I have never

hosted an event here in KY.

Hopefully you've already enrolled, but if not -

you want to change that fast. There is going

to be too much that you do not want to miss.

:: You'll discover everything you always wanted to

know about training young athletes.

:: I'm personally going to teach you how to add a

part-time 30K per year youth fitness profit center

to your business...even if you've never trained

anyone but adults before.

:: And we're going to give you a sneak peek at

our soon-to-launch youth fitness franchise.

That's about 15% of what the actual presentations

will cover - and that's not to mention the incredible

networking and brainstorming you get at these

kind of events.

So make plans to come see us here in Louisville if

you can. It's going to be an incredible event and

I don't want you to miss it!

Movin’ Day!!!

Holly, Tyler and I are packing up our final boxes

and moving about 45 minutes up the road to

Louisville tomorrow.

This move is something we've been planning for

quite a while as Louisville is a bit closer to our

families and Tyler's dad lives in Louisville.

But I have to admit, I'm a bit nostalgic about the

time we've lived here in Elizabethtown.

Holly and I got married here.

We've made some wonderful friends and had some

great times here.

And it doesn't seem that long ago that Nick and I shared

an apartment for the first couple of months we were in

business.

Then Holly and I lived in a basement for 6 months while

we built the business.

Who'd have ever guessed that we'd be able to build our

own little fitness empire based right here in E-Town, KY.

Fast forward a few years later and we have several

thriving businesses - most more than doubling in size

each year.

Holly's got the most popular mom's fitness product

on the entire internet.

We're about to launch what I promise you will be the

most successful youth fitness franchise in the world

(yes, that is a guarantee.)

Along with our partners (who don't live in KY for some

absurd reason) - we are helping thousands of fitness

pros around the world...and it all began right here in

little old Elizabethtown, KY with our first personal

training company.

Don't mistake this for one of those 'it doesn't matter

where you are - you can be successful' stories.

It's not that at all.

It certainly matters. It mattered for us because we had

the right people right here - all committed to doing some

big things.

If we wouldn't have moved to E-Town I can promise you

that you wouldn't be reading this right now and you

probably wouldn't have ever heard of me.

So take it from me...go wherever you need to so that

you can work with the right people doing the right things.

It was certainly one of the best decisions I've ever made.

Have a great weekend and get ready for your first

newsletter from Louisville on Monday;)

Do You Need Technology?

A couple of days I was trying to think of things

to write about and didn't come up with anything

inspiring so I 'Twittered' and asked for suggestions.

Within an hour I had about 15 suggestions, so I

combined a couple that had to do with technology

and decided to write about that.

See, my thoughts are pretty simple when it comes to

technology:

If it makes your life easier - use it.

If it doesn't - skip it.

Here are a few examples:

:: I have a Palm Treo phone that could pretty much do

anything I wanted it to. I use it for e-mail when I'm

away from a computer and calls. That's it. I've

tried using it for scheduling and other stuff...didn't

make my life easier.

:: I use Google for pretty much everything. G-Mail for

e-mail, Google Docs for project management, Google

Calendar for an online calendar. Why this 'simple'

approach and not one of those fancy project management

programs...it's easier. I can easily invite anyone to

a Google doc and share it. I can have all 3 together

on a home page at a glance...very simple.

:: I use a Franklin Planner (I guess they're Franklin

Covey now) and have since 1994 (gosh - that's 15

years...). It's worked for me and I have a system

that I understand. I've tested online systems, Palm

Pilots and a few other things...nothing else makes

my life easier.

:: Billing Software. We've used a 3rd part billing

company from day one in our training businesses.

Automated billing makes life way easier.

:: Client scheduling...hmmmm...We tested a variety of

scheduling systems and always found paper scheduling

for 1 on 1 or semi-private was easier. If we find

something online that is easier - we'll let

you know;)

Bottom line...any time you add a new technology, base

that decision on whether it makes your life easier -

not whether it's a new fad, it seems cool or is the

buzz of the industry.

You'll be much happier and much more productive.

Dedicated to your success,

Pat

It’s All Who You Know

When I evaluate a fitness professional's marketing

efforts, I can almost always draw a direct correlation

between the amount of networking they do and the

success they're having.

The more of personal you can make things, the

better success you'll have.

Face to face beats talking on the phone.

Talking on the phone beats personal emails.

Personal emails beat broadcast emails.

If you're not generating the number of clients you

want...try to move up the 'relationship ladder' and

watching your results soar.

In fact, that's why Twitter works so well.

You can connect with people on a more personal

level.

It's the closest thing to online conversation.

I gave you a few people to follow the other day - here

they are again:

Obviously you need to follow me;)

http://twitter.com/patrigsby

And you must be following my business partners

You should also be following three of the guys I consider

Fitness business / marketing gurus:

As far as the fitness industry goes...in my humble opinion,

these people are must follows too. They are great role

relationships with your target market.

Are You Coming?

We're preparing for the big IYCA International Summit
that will be held in Louisville, KY on February 20th
and 21st and I'm pumped.

I don't know about you, but I love live events.

Small group mastermind meetings or big events like
this...doesn't matter.

I've never been to a live event since I've been in the
fitness industry that didn't lead to at least a 25K
increase in our business income.

The presentations are almost always thought provoking.

The atmosphere is almost always inspiring.

And the networking is priceless.

You've probably already heard me say this, but almost
every business or product we've developed has
stemmed from attending a live event.

I hope you're gonna be in Louisville.

But if you aren't, still make sure you're attending
live events 3-4 times per year.

It will always pay you back and then some.

Dedicated to your success,

Pat

Are you doing this yet?

By now you've probably heard me talk about Twitter
a few times.

It's one of the coolest online tools I've ever seen.

Just in the past few weeks Holly has gotten almost 1500
Followers, and through that networking she's lined up
several big JV partners and opportunities to write for high
traffic sites and do interviews that will easily generate
thousands in sales.

For me, I've made some contacts that are a HUGE help for
2 of the biggest projects we're working on.

Bottom line...you should be making Twitter a BIG part of
your networking.

If you don't have a Twitter account yet - set one up today.

Once you do (or if you currently do) here are some people
I consider 'must follows':

Obviously you need to follow me;)

http://twitter.com/patrigsby

And you must be following my business partners
Jim & Nick:

That may seem like a lot, but ultimately you're gonna want
to be following hundreds - possibly thousands...and you're
going to want an equally large following.

Twitter is really that cool...start using it today if you
don't already.

Enjoy the weekend!

I wish I was this guy;)

Yesterday's success stories we're so well received
I thought I'd share one more with you.

Bootcamp Blueprint Member Max Hoyt wrote a
post on the forum the other day and I've taken
part of it to share with you (the whole thing was 2X
this long.)

Before you read this, you need to know that if you
want to join The Bootcamp Blueprint - the door
closes at noon (EST) and won't re-open until late spring
at the earliest. You can join here:

http://www.TheBootcampBlueprint.com

Now - read what Max wrote...then read it again.

You can do this too.

"There were times where I couldn't even host a camp due
to lack of attendance but using the techniques I've learned
from the 'Fab 4' (Jim, Nick, me and BJ) I was able to grow
my camp to the point where I have a waiting list!

I only work in my business 18hrs a week. I train a few
clients because it's fun for me, not because I have to.

I was even able to give my wife a new Lexus because
some boot camp clients wanted me to train them
one on one so badly that they agreed to title it over
for a year of my services, how crazy is that!?

It's hard to beat this career when it's done right. I live
in Florida and I'm almost never out of my sandals. I play
beach volleyball 3 times a week and I only dress up to
go to my wife's company party.

I have a great boss ;) and most importantly, by the time
my kids are old enough to be in school and playing
sports, dancing, etc... I'll have the time, the mo.ney and
the flexibility to be the dad that's coaching, supporting
and teaching their kids while other parents are busting
their butt just to make ends meet.

I used to have a real laissez-faire approach to my business
but the 'Fab 4' made me realize that if I don't plan for the
future then I'll never have the security that I need for my
family.

I personally think it's easy to run a camp. What's hard is
setting that camp up to be a guaranteed source of income.
At least it was hard until I met the guys that show me how
to do it all.

Thanks so much Jim, Pat, BJ & Nick!

Sincerely,
Max Hoyt

*******************************************
Pretty awesome, huh?

I hope you are not only motivated by Max's story and
the others that I've shared this week - but I also hope
you're ready to join them and write your own success
story.

There is no easier way to do it than to join the Bootcamp
Blueprint.

Have a great weekend!

You Want Some Inspiration?

By now you know we re-opened the Bootcamp
Blueprint until Friday. You can enroll here:

http://www.TheBootcampBlueprint.com

What you may not know is that before we did, we
asked our current members how they're doing.

With all the gloom and doom talk about the economy I
think you'll want to see what some of them had to say -
whether you are interested in the program or not.

Here's a sample:

Dan Go: "I have the most clients signed up for one boot
camp EVER. I have 25 members in my 6:45pm class!"
Dan also just lined up a corporate bootcamp and was
featured on Daytime TV.

Troy Blankenship: "This past Monday my first boot camp
with my first phase began. I had over 20 people attend!"

Tyler English: "My camps are launching next week and I have
over 30 committed campers."

Nik Herold: "Successfully went into business for myself
and left my position as Training Director for Equinox
Fitness and was able to make just as much money on my own,
but spent 1/2 as many hours doing so!"

Steve Krebs: "Landed a recurring spot on the local TV
news and my Boot Camp is now my main source of income."

Granville Mayers: "The success is hard to believe all
of my camps are full, I have over 50 people. I have
never made money like this in a month before. Being
in this group and learning what they teach us has
changed my life."

Maybe you run bootcamps. Maybe you don't.

Maybe you're interested in The Bootcamp Blueprint.

Maybe not.

Regardless - I want to make sure you don't believe the
crap that you see on the news.

That you can't be successful in these times.

That you should settle for scraping by.

Bullshit.

You can do better and you deserve better.

These guys are living proof.

Now go make it happen!

Pat

P.S. - If you want access to the same secret weapon
these guys and dozens of others use to build their
dream business, you have one more day to join:

http://www.TheBootcampBlueprint.com

Not only will you gain access to all of the modules
moving forward - but you'll also gain online access
to the modules these guys have used to achieve
these results.

Don't miss out!

Winners vs Losers: The BIG Difference

Why do some people fail while others have

massive success?

How do some people seem to have the Midas

touch while others never seem to ever get ahead?

It's really all about a 2 step process:

Step 1: Have a plan

Step 2: Take consistent and massive action

If you don't have a plan - you WILL NOT just

accidentally stumble upon success.

Not a chance of that happening.

And if you aren't taking action day after day...

...having the best plan in the world won't mean

sh&t.

Here is a perfect example:

Ryan Ketchum and Wil Fleming wanted to launch

a bootcamp with their new facility.

Obviously, with a new facility they already had

their hands full...but they were determined to launch

a successful bootcamp.

So they joined the Bootcamp Blueprint. But not only

did they join, they paid in full for the year to basically

'lock themselves into the plan.'

So they spent December executing the plan...massive

daily action.

The result:

:: Featured on TV

:: Front page article in the local paper

:: Here's the BIG one...25 campers for their January camp!

They more than got their entire investment back after

only one month...

But here's the best part...

...all those clients are set to auto-renew.

So they already have 25 enrolled for next month too!

If you want the EXACT plan they used to build a

camp like this in only a month, you can have it if

you act fast.

The Bootcamp Blueprint is open for enrollment - but only

for 48 more hours.

Don't miss this opportunity:

http://www.TheBootcampBlueprint.com

Dedicated to your success,

Pat

P.S. - Also - if you didn't see yesterday's email, you can

get the first 4 modules of the Bootcamp Blueprint on DVD

and CD, you have until Noon EST today. Grab them here:

2 Great Strategies You Can Implement Today

OK, today we're reopening the Bootcamp

Blueprint for 72 hours...

http://www.theBootcampBlueprint.com

So obviously that is a BIG strategy that you can

implement right now to grow your business...

...but I have another one for you too.

Start collecting testimonials and use them...

...EVERYWHERE!

The are few things more powerful than social

proof when it comes to marketing.

Here are some tips to make testimonials work for

you:

:: When someone begins working with you take a

before picture and starting stats.

:: Every time someone meets a goal or hits a

significant benchmark, ask for a testimonial.

:: Do surveys and ask questions about how your

program has helped your clients.

:: Be specific and get details.

:: Use your testimonials in ads, on your website and

anywhere else prospects might see you.

:: Use a variety of before and after pics so more

prospects can relate.

:: Create a wall of fame or presentation book.

:: Get specific when you describe what clients did

to get results. Prospects will follow in their footsteps.

:: Finally...go get 2 or 3 today and get 1 more every

day this week. You've already got clients and they

already have success stories...go get them!

I'm going to follow my own suggestion and tell you

about just a sample of what members of the Bootcamp

Blueprint have accomplished in 2 short months:

:: Tyler English went from no campers to 31 and also got

his own column in a local health mag!

:: Sharon Lustre generated 19 new prospects and got to the

top of Google for 5 different popular phrases that her

prospects are using.

:: Tiffany & Jeff Larson have already added $1200 to their

MONTHLY income and have been featured in the local

Newspaper and on TV!

:: Marc Kent has signed up 6 new client in the past week!

:: Caroline Fitzgerald was featured on her NBC affiliate, in

the local paper and has added 8 new clients!

Like I said - that's just a sampling of the success Bootcamp

Blueprint members are having.

If you want to enroll in this 12 month program and start

writing your own success story - you have the next 72

hours to secure your spot.

However...if you want the first 2 months worth of Modules

and Bonus Modules on DVD and CD, you need to enroll

within the next 24 hours.

Here's your link:

http://www.thebootcampblueprint.com

Dedicated to your success,

Pat

P.S. - If you get one new client, the program pays

for itself...but you won't get one new client. You'll

get 5-10...in the first few week;)

It All Starts Here

Your success all starts with delivering incredible
value.

Marketing guru Yanik Silver often talks about
trying to deliver value equal to 10-100X what
the customer pay you for a product or service.

Are you doing that?

You should be?

If a client pays you $200 per month be part of your
Bootcamp - you have to deliver results and an
experience that adds $2000 worth of value to
their life.

Sound tough?

It's not really.

If someone loses 40 lbs and has a great experience
doing that - isn't it worth 2K per month?

I have no doubt.

It probably is worth that in long term health
benefits alone.

But add in self-esteem.

Earning power (yes, overweight people earn less).

Happiness.

No doubt all of that is worth 2K to the client.

So be sure that you're delivering that type of
value - it will make all the difference in your
business.

In fact, it's so important I'll give you one more
example.

We've had dozens of success stories from the Bootcamp
Blueprint in just the first 2 months, but one that
really caught our attention was an email that we
received from a member that had previously invested
about 3K in a popular bootcamp license.

Among other things, the email said:

"just know that other programs that sell for $2900
are not NEARLY as comprehensive as yours and I have
only seen 2 months worth :-)"

That was EXACTLY what we were working for when we
developed The Bootcamp Blueprint. We wanted to deliver
so much value that each month would be worth the entire
12 month investment.

So focus on ways to consistently deliver more
value - you'll be rewarded with more clients, more
referrals and more income.

Dedicated to your success,

Pat

P.S. - We are re-opening The Bootcamp Blueprint for 72
hours tomorrow at noon. If you want a 5 figure a month
bootcamp business in 2009, you MUST be part of this
program.

P.P.S. - If you enroll during the first 24 hours we'll also
give you ALL of the content the member was referring to
from the first 2 months on DVD and CD. Don't delay and
miss out.

My Fearless Predictions For 2009

Everyone seems to be making predictions
for the new year so I'm jumping on the
bandwagon;)

Here are my Top 10 fitness industry predictions
for 2009...

1. There will be more health club closings than
in any previous year. They have a broken business
model and will suffer because of it.

2. Health clubs will be eliminating the independent
trainer and taking the training in-house to try to
add revenue.

3. Most one-on-one only fitness pros will struggle.
Relying on such a small segment of the population
(the affluent) is risky with a turbulent economy and
the possibility of increased taxes on the wealthy.

4. Low overhead facilities will thrive. Trainers &
coaches will trend toward places like Pam MacElree
& Jason Brown's facility or Zach Even-Esh's and
Away from the high end studio.

5. Non-traditional training like kettlebell training,
strongman training, band training and other out
of the ordinary methods will gain even more
popularity due to social media making more and
more people aware.

6. Trainers who don't niche or have a hook will be
left behind. With the explosion of social media, trends
travel faster than ever before and people are much more
able to find exactly what they're looking for instead of
settling for less. If a mom wants help specifically
for her, finding a program like Holly's Fit Yummy Mummy is
easier than ever before so no more settling for the crappy
trainer at Gold's.

7. Trainers will pass health clubs as a preferred
corporate fitness solution. By combining better results,
better service and more convenience trainers will be
able to better serve businesses' fitness needs.

8. More trainers than ever before will run their
business like a business. This is an easy one...this
has happened every year that I've been in the industry.
Each year trainers are becoming more and more interested
in improving their business education. The changing
economy will only accelerate that. In fact, I'd bet that
more trainers will start retirement planning in 2009 than
in the previous 3 years combined.

9. Youth fitness will once again be the fastest growing
segment of the fitness industry. Every business mag from
Entrepreneur to Inc. has talked about one of the best
markets to be in is the youth / teen market. Parents will
ALWAYS invest in their kids.

10. Fitness bootcamps will continue to grow are a rapid
pace. The stars are aligned for this one. The economy
will lead people to try to get more bang for their fitness
buck. Trainers are becoming more business savvy.
Clubs are moving independent trainers out. I predict a
250% increase in the number of fitness bootcamps
worldwide in 2009.

That's it. My 10 predictions. I'm confident enough
in these that I'm willing to adjust our businesses
accordingly.

Give them some thought and decide if you should do
the same.

Have a great weekend!

Pat

P.S. - The Bootcamp Blueprint will open up next
Tuesday and we'll accept a very limited number of
new members. But I'm going to warn you...this is
only for those fitness pros that are 100% committed
to building a 10K or more per month bootcamp
business. It's a 12 month commitment and we won't
take slackers.

If you are determined to make 2009 your year, stay
tuned for information about this limited registration
opportunity.
