There’s Plenty of Opportunity

I was looking around on ESPN.com over
the weekend and stumbled across an article
discussing the most powerful boosters in
college sports.

I looked down through the list and couldn't
believe my eyes - there was a man that had
once given me his card and told me to call
and he'd help me climb the coaching ladder.

Just give him a call.

I never called.

It reminded me of a few other opportunities
that had come my way but I choose to pass on.

A few coaching jobs and business opportunities
that might well have led to great things.

But things have worked out pretty well for me
in spite of passing on what a few people told me
were 'once in a lifetime' opportunities.

I'm telling you this because I see it every day -
more opportunities popping up all over.

So don't worry about the one you might have
missed out on or chosen not to pursue - focus
on the ones here right now and keep your eyes
open for the ones that will show up soon.

Because they are coming.

You just need to take action on the ones that are
right for you.
