has reminded me of something vital to your
success:
They're no different than you.
They're the type of person you went to school
with and were on teams with.
They just didn't settle.
They though big.
I remember back when I took the baseball
coaching job you've heard me talk about.
I thought about achieving a lot of things:
Going to the World Series - got there.
Winning a certain number of games each
year - got there.
Becoming a nationally competitive program
year in and year out - got there.
Funny though - when it came to mon.ey I
remember thinking "I'd be happy if I could
just make $30,000 a year."
I got there too.
Wasn't all it was cracked up to be;)
So I decided that I shouldn't settle and I
should think bigger.
I'm pretty happy with how that's working
out for me, but let's talk about you.
Are you thinking big enough?
Is there untapped potential in you waiting to
get out?
My guess is yes.
The super successful people I've met are all
smart and hard working...but so are you, right?
So the difference is that they thought bigger
and they were unwilling to settle.
Based on my experiences, this mindset is
often the difference between the ordinary
and the extraordinary.
Which will you be?
Dedicated to your success,
Pat
